Description
The M*A*S*H is a mash-up (see what we did there, eh?!) of two classic green box overdrives! Turns out both of these classic pedals originally were loaded with JRC4558 opamps so we started there and added a toggle to allow the user to choose beween TS style clipping and ODR-1 style clipping with a flick of swtich. A subtle difference in overdrive characteristics occurs but that becomes less subtle with different EQ settings. While the gain opamp and clipping is closely related between these two pedals, thats where the simularities end. We decided to un-do all the "built in filtering" and put the voicing controls in the hands of thw users with the on-board sweepable LOWS and HIGHS controls. To top it all off, we added a wah inductor based bell filter that allows the user to really shape the mids in musical, creative ways!
