The Schecter Aaron Marshall AM-6 Electric Guitar in Arctic Jade is an embodiment of progressive metal innovation. Handcrafted for the mastermind behind Intervals, Aaron Marshall, this guitar is a testament to innovation and virtuosity. With the perfect blend of performance, playability, and tone, this 6-string beauty boasts a lightweight basswood body, paired with Equinox and Solstice humbuckers exclusively designed by Schecter USA. These humbuckers are versatile and can effortlessly transition from ultra-high gain chug to atmospheric clean tones.
The guitar's wenge neck carries a thin "C" shape, a favourite among technically inclined players. Its jumbo stainless steel frets and a compound 12- to 16-inch radius are designed for smooth, rapid-fire arpeggios and massive multi-step bends. The Gotoh vintage 2-point tremolo allows you to dive-bomb to your heart’s content, while the Hipshot Grip-Lock tuners ensure maximum stability.

He toured the States in late 2021 with four Schecter signature protypes (a pair of 6-strings and 7-strings). First, his new guitar starts with Schecter’s “super-strat” C-1 platform. The DNA of these testers include a basswood body, quartersawn wenge neck (with carbon-fiber reinforcement and a truss-rod wheel), and ebony fretboard (lighted up with Luminlays side dots for dark stages). He admits to focusing a healthy amount of its development on the neck profile because he believes that “the neck dictates the user experience” and wenge was selected because “it has an heirloom-esque feel that gives you a really nice handshake with some character.” It has a real-deal Japanese Gotoh 510 Series trem (with a steel block), extra-jumbo stainless-steel frets, and is decked out with Hipshot hardware. For this run, he was auditioning Schecter’s Custom Shop Pasadena Plus pickups, but noted that those could change before production starts.
