Great mic for vocals and acoustic guitar

Clean mic, imho most suitable for vocals and acoustic guitar but used it on an amp a couple of times and was fabulous.

Sounds great at an affordable price

Has a good level of noise cancellation/suppression and isolation. The frequency response is a great embellishment to my style of singing, something I hadn't realised was effecting my vocal with other affordable mics. Got it in a bundle with an xlr and stand for , great affordable starting point without feeling or sounding cheap. If I were being facetious, I dare say priceier mics "sound better" and could knock a star down, but taking into account everything and reviewing solely on what I have it's a 5/5

Very clear lacks high output

Very clear mic, only complaint is it doesn’t cut through a mix very well. May just be used to the 945.

A great vocal mic

This is the mic I bring to shows with me. I like the flat grill (Since I sometimes hit my teeth on a round sm58, and I like that the high end of this mic cuts through a mix a little better. However, I have noticed this mic feedbacks easier than an sm58.

As tough as an SM58

I've been using these mics on stage since switching from Shure SM58's about ten years ago. When holding a mic, I tend to cup that sucker (bad habit and so very 90's, I know. Shut up. But it can take it.) They're also tough enough to take any of the stupid things I do to a mic on stage. Oh, yeah, and they sound alright for my histrionic wailing.

Good Performing Mic

I picked up two of these a while back while cobbling together a PA system for entertaining. I'm very pleased with them. They have great sensitivity and they're very rugged. I just think they look good too!

Good price, great sounding vocal mike

My preferred live vocal mike, unless you are super loud on stage (e935 for that). Natural sounding on most voices, can be a little sizzly on females with high voices. Less presence peak than SM58s and smoother. A good deal on eBay used.
