The Optical Compressor is a studio compressor for your pedalboard, with the tone control and the blend knob you are able to dial in the perfect sound for your guitar or bass that is rich with overtones and thickness that you cant get from any other pedal, the blend knob allows you to mix between your original signal and the compressed signal creating a very natural and punchy sound that is very musical.
