Soundcraft 200B Mixing Console (IM Jan 86)

muzines.co.uk

The Soundcraft Series 200B mixing console impresses with its modular design and sonic fidelity, making it a versatile choice for various applications. It offers professional features such as a sloped control panel, modular input channels, and flexible auxiliary sends. However, it lacks dedicated effects returns, which can lead to inconvenience during multitrack recording. Despite this, the console's smooth operation and tonal quality make it a highly recommended option, especially for users who can configure a patching system to manage tape returns efficiently. Overall, the 200B strikes a commendable balance between quality and value.

Such a great sound

One of the best things I’ve ever bought. Such a solid and rich sound, gives that little extra to my synths and drum machines. The groups are great for drums too with a little drive. (I don’t have the B model)
