Description
Experience the warm, vintage sound of a classic tape echo with the T-Rex Engineering Replicator Tape Echo. This pedal captures the essence of analog delay in a modern, reliable format, making it an essential tool for guitarists seeking rich, textured soundscapes. Handmade in Denmark, its craftsmanship ensures durability and a boutique feel, while its BASF C30 1/8" chrome tape cartridge offers longevity and easy replacement for endless sonic exploration.
With two playback heads, one offering Tap Tempo functionality and the other independently bypassable, the Replicator allows for versatile delay effects. The delay level and feedback controls for each playback head provide precise control, and the unit can be operated via an expression pedal for real-time manipulation. The delay time ranges from 125 ms to 1.2 s, with the first head controllable via Tap Tempo or an expression pedal.
The Replicator also features a Master Boost control to adjust overall volume, a Chorus knob for band pitch modulation, and a Saturation controller to drive the recording head into saturation with a convenient LED peak display. Additional features include a Kill Dry function for parallel mixing, a Filter Switch for attenuating high frequencies, and CV input/output for integrating with modular setups. With inputs for two expression pedals, this pedal is as flexible as your creativity demands.
