Reviewed: TC Electronic Hall Of Fame 2 Mini - Mixdown Magazine

mixdownmag.com.au

The TC Electronic Hall of Fame 2 Mini reverb pedal offers a delightful upgrade to its predecessor with three control knobs for a more hands-on experience, while still maintaining its compact size and user-friendly design. The addition of the Shimmer algorithm is a standout feature that will appeal to ambient and shoegaze enthusiasts. The innovative MASH footswitch allows for real-time parameter adjustments, enhancing expressiveness significantly. However, the pedal's compactness can feel cramped, and the reliance on the TonePrint app may not suit everyone’s live performance style. Overall, the improvements are commendable, making it a worthy choice for those looking to expand their reverb palette.

Compact yet powerful, the TC Electronic Hall of Fame 2 Mini Reverb Pedal packs a punch with its versatile sound options and innovative MASH expression feature. It offers a plethora of reverb types, from classic hall to shimmering effects, all accessible via TC's TonePrint software. However, the reliance on an app for sound changes can be a hassle for some musicians, potentially limiting its on-the-fly usability. Overall, it's a fantastic choice for those seeking quality reverb in a small footprint, as long as you're comfortable with a bit of tech-savvy management.

Review: TC Electronic Flashback 2 Mini & Hall of Fame 2 Mini

guitar.com

Compact yet powerful, the TC Electronic Hall of Fame 2 Mini Reverb Pedal offers an impressive range of sounds and the innovative Mash feature that adds an expression pedal-like functionality. While the TonePrint technology enhances tonal customization with a wealth of options, the overwhelming variety may leave some users questioning the necessity of so many presets. The build quality is solid, but the learning curve for the Mash may deter those looking for straightforward usability. Ultimately, it’s a creative powerhouse suited for adventurous players, though it may feel a bit over-engineered for the casual user.

Great little reverb pedal

The HoF Mini 2 is a fantastic little pedal. It may not do any one particular thing exceptionally, but it does many things very, very well. With the tone print app that you can download on any cellphone, you literally have a library of hundreds, if not thousands of pre-made reverb sounds - some crafted by well-known artists. And, with the 3 knobs, you can dial in your perfect sound. Like many TC Electronics pedals, the switch can either be clicked to stay on or, you can hold it down and release, when you just need that little burst of reverb for one part. All in all, a great little reverb pedal.
