The ThorpyFX The Fat General Parallel Compressor MKII is a masterful evolution in the world of compression pedals, crafted in collaboration with the original designer, Dan Coggins. This pedal not only enhances your guitar's sustain and balance but does so with an impressive transparency that minimizes unwanted noise and signal pumping. Whether you're a seasoned performer or a studio enthusiast, you'll appreciate the premium components that ensure a pristine and articulate sound.

This compact powerhouse is aesthetically pleasing with its stainless steel laser-etched center console, encased in a rugged yet elegant anodized aluminum enclosure. Its robust build features recessed knobs and top-mounted jacks that cater to both style and functionality. The MKII's design allows for seamless integration into any pedalboard setup, making it an indispensable tool for any guitarist seeking clarity and depth in their sound.

Internally, the Fat General MKII boasts a selection of top-tier components, including 1% metalfilm resistors, Wima and Panasonic capacitors, Neutrik jacks, and a Burr-Brown Opamp. These elements are expertly assembled on a gold-plated PCB with dust-sealed potentiometers, ensuring durability and reliability across countless gigs and sessions.
