Description

Step into a realm where vintage meets versatility with the Vertex Dynamic Distortion MKII. This pedal is not merely a tool but a gateway to the golden eras of rock 'n roll, encapsulating the very essence of the '60s Germanium Fuzz and the '80s TS Overdrive. Imagine harnessing the power to glide from crystalline cleans to a rich, saturated overdrive and then into the realm of classic fuzz—all while maintaining an unparalleled touch sensitivity and dynamic response to your guitar's volume knob.

What sets the Vertex Dynamic Distortion MKII apart is its ability to marry these iconic tones without the usual drawbacks. Use it with a buffer with zero compromise on sound quality, and discover fuzz tones that slice through the mix with precision. It even allows for the full expression of your wah pedal in fuzz mode—a feat seldom achieved with vintage units. The pedal's thin/fat knob further broadens your sonic palette, offering everything from the thick resonance of a British 4x12 cabinet to the piercing treble of RAT-style distortion. Whether you're looking to recreate legendary sounds or forge your own unique tonal path, the Vertex Dynamic Distortion MKII's responsive controls are your key to unlocking new dimensions of distortion.

Key Features:

  • Limited edition run of 250 pieces
  • Seamlessly combines the tone stacks of SD-9, RAT, and classic Fuzz
  • True Bypass for uncolored signal path

marketed as a tubescreamer and fuzz face in one – expect neither

it sounds alright, but far too scooped for ts sound and not enough gain to really be a fuzz on its own. it's closer to an sd-9.
