Vox V847A

This is a great wah pedal. I just recently swapped my older $80 Cry Baby (cant remember actual model so that's why I'm saying $80 one) wah for this and am not disappointed. The Cry Baby and this Vox have different tones, but I like the cleaner tone of the Vox better. The Cry Baby is more raunchy when you use it, so having the cleaner tone of the Vox is great, because I stack a Tube Screamer and a Catalinbred Topanga Reverb over it most of the time, and an EP Booster for lead and solos. Sometimes stacking that with the Cry Baby would make for a muddy tone, but works well with the Vox. Completely recommend this to anybody and everybody. Vox makes great products!

a good wah pedal to mod

Look it sounds great and it is really pretty, but not having a true bypass is messing my sound. everytime i turn it off all my other pedals lose their powerful sound which makes me not turn off the wah pedal.the other thing is that is very heavy and it doesnt have a led... so use it to mod the shit out

It's the classic wah

Nice chrome finish. But remember it affected the overall volume, I don't remember exactly but is supposethere was a significant volume drop when engagaed. So a bummer. Plus it was hard to turn it on.

Is it better than a crybaby wah i don't know they both sound very different so I find the only solution it to have both on your pedalboard

Fulfills all your wahwah needs!

Wanna get the intro to Bodies by Drowning Pool? Get this pedal. Any Metallica solo ever? This'll do it. Writing music for a porno? Perfection. This is honestly too under the radar for how good it is. I'd take it over a Crybaby any day. I mean, if I was given the choice to straight up trade this for a Dimebag, Hammett, or Cantrell wah, I'd probably take the trade, but this thing is great!

Much better than my previous wah pedal.

It gives you that great feeling of legends like Jimi Hendrix etc. I love this pedal and for it's price it's a bargain. So compatible with my Fender Champion 40 Amp

Une réplique de wah de légende

Au même titre que la Dunlop, la v847 possède quelques défauts. Elle fait son job, elle est bien, mais pourrait être mieux.

Déjà le switch est hyper mal foutu. On a du mal à l'enclenché et le désenclencher. En raccourcissant un peu les renforts en caoutchouc au niveau du switch c'est mieux. Par contre elle a tendance à grésiller, et ça pour avoir un beau wah c'est pas vraiment tip top.
