Электретный микрофон "МКЭ-9" выпускался с 1985 года Тульским заводом "Октава". Выпускался в двух вариантах: "МКЭ-9" - предназначен для систем звукоусиления, имеет симметричный выход. "МКЭ-9А" - предназначен для комплектации бытовой звукозаписывающей аппаратуры, имеет несимметричный выход. Микрофоны имеют малую восприимчивость к помехам. Диапазон частот 50...15000 Гц. Чувствительность 4 мВ/Па. Неравномерность ЧХ 18 дБ. Модуль электрического сопротивления 300 Ом. Габариты микрофона 51х173 мм. Масса 270 гр.
