Great sound quality

Great sound quality however only compatible with MPC sequencer or MPC plug in not completely compatible with all DAWs as I had expected as will not plug and play as a controller for groove agent without setting it up in midi, also if you make your own packs they don't always load consistently its a bit dated in that you have to jump through hoops to get it set up

Excellent controller for drum and sample based beat making.

I just received my controller for Christmas and partly paid for it. On opening I discovered it had a nice carry case and midi break out cables, as well as a substantially long USB cable. It had a loosely based manual which I breezed through. It came with aa download link which I promptly went to the link and downloaded the software, which included; a synthesiser, a sample based synth and three drum machines. The software which came with it is intuitive ad after following through with the basic guide to making a tune, I got o grips with the software. The software works well as a VST and has a fair amount of integration into Cubase (version 8.5). The unit is apparently designed and touted to users as a device for hip hop and RnB. I've used mine for drum and bass, dance and trance to great effect.

The device, software and 10 GB of samples (which is installed in a fixed directory, so have space sorted out in you C: drive or your screwed)

50% Swing though?!?!

The DAW has a 50% swing and I couldn't reduce that amount, could have been me but because of that I wasn't happy with that part. I started with MPC1000 and I was so green and I guess I wasn't the only one, because no one was able to help me get my beats off the hard drive, fast forward a few year. I saw a DAW was available I went for the purchase because the chopping ability with sampling was so amazing.

Small profile, big vibes

I like to use it, I am not into the touch versions. Very quick workflow using the shortcuts. Allows to work without the computer too much.
