Behringer C-1u USB Microphone Review/Test — Geeks Rising

geeksrising.com

The Behringer C-1U USB Microphone offers decent sound quality with easy plug-and-play functionality, making it suitable for basic recording needs like voice-overs and casual YouTube videos. However, it falls short in build quality, plagued by a flimsy microphone mount and a low output volume that might introduce hiss or buzz. While it handles background noise well, its overall performance is limited, making it less ideal for professional audio work or future upgrades. A fair choice for beginners, but not a standout option.

Its decent...

I bought this microphone because I was in a hurry. That was my fault. Asides from that, I would go for a different microphone as this mic has too much noise and is built cheaply. Although I digress, I would but this if you're an amateur producer or gamer. If you're serious about music get an XLR microphone, it'll be worth it in the long run. Also, the microphone clip is cheap. A close friend of mine bumped it, and the clip broke, dropping my mic which left me with this annoying low pitch noise/ buzzing sound but that somehow went away.

Very fragile and already generic to begin with.

I got it brand new, accidentally dropped it and dented it, and now it records super quiet, and it already recorded quiet to begin with. Because of this, I have to turn the volume up a lot after recording, so there's a lot of background feedback. So you can do a lot better than this, but for dirt cheap and for beginners, it's decent. I hardly trust Behringer to begin with.

endofourlives

Pretty epic microphone

It seems nobody has this one. I love it, it was $80 CAD but its quality suggests it was $500 I 100% recommend you check this one out.
