Essential

There are other options for 1176/LA-2A chain, but this:

  1. Sounds great - very difficult to lay master vocals when you’re fighting to get a sound. This takes that fight away, so you can concentrate everything on material and performance.

  2. Cost effective against alternatives.

  3. Road Tough.

  4. Big knobs, switches and VUs - no digital futzing, firmware upgrades, passwords or spinny beach balls. Just electricity and pure SOUND.

Preferred Settings + Usage:

Lots of gainstaging options between circuits. Hit the 76 5ms attack fastest release, grabbing peaks -3 to -5db compression, 2A smoothing around -2db
