Blackstar LT Drive, LT Dist, and LT Metal Reviews - Premier Guitar

premierguitar.com

The Blackstar LT DRIVE pedal impresses with its versatile overdrive capabilities, offering excellent tones and a wide range of gain at an affordable price. Its simplicity is a highlight, making it easy to dial in tones without overwhelming options. While it may provide more gain than some might desire in an overdrive, its dynamic response and clear articulation, even at high saturation, stand out. A reliable choice for those seeking a great all-purpose dirt pedal without breaking the bank.

Blackstar LT Drive review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

The Blackstar LT Drive offers excellent value for money with its valve-like response and substantial volume, though it lacks the Infinite Shape feature found in other Blackstar pedals. This low-gain stompbox delivers dynamic tones that remain true to your guitar's sound, making it a solid choice for those who don’t need the extra gain of its siblings.

Top notch, simple as.

I have to say that Music pays my bills, whether it's guitar lessons, gigs or sessions, so gear is of the utmost importance to me, and this yellow thing is one of the best OD pedals I've ever tried! I own some very sought after boutique ones as well as some top of the range standard production ones and in all honesty the LT-Drive compares with the best of them; whether with a Les Paul or a Strat or anything else the sound is always warm, clear & articulate even at highest settings, I can just leave it "on" and basically control everything just with the way I pick and set the controls on the guitar. Also, it's literally built like a tank (very much like MXR stuff) it has silent switching, low level of floor noise, and it's cheap. If this doesn't make for an awesome pedal, I don't know what does!

My "always on" pedal.

Placed after my Muff with gain set fairly low it pushes the signal through my board, and helps keep things crisp and clear.
