"I use a slightly lighter gauge than a lot of people. People think the heavier the string, the heavier your sound. But in my opinion, if you got a heavy string, you gotta fucking mash on it to make it sound like you're hitting it hard where if you play a 100 instead of a 105, it sounds like you're clobbering it but you get to reserve a little bit of your energy cause we're going really fast the whole set."
