Critic Reviews

DigiTech Element XP review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

The DigiTech Element XP Guitar Multi-Effects Processor impresses with its inspiring presets and value for money. Its standout features include exceptional delays and whammy sounds, making it a great choice for both beginners and seasoned players. However, the three-digit screen can be limiting, making it difficult to remember presets. Despite this, the processor's back-to-basics approach encourages you to focus on playing rather than tweaking, though high-gain sounds can be a bit fizzy. Overall, it's a reliable and versatile practice tool with a few minor drawbacks.

DigiTech Element and Element XP

guitarinteractivemagazine.com

The DigiTech Element XP impresses with its versatility and user-friendly design, offering a wide array of effects, amps, and a handy drum machine. The expression pedal is a standout addition, enhancing control for live settings. While distortion and lead tones shine, clean sounds lack the depth of traditional valve amps, posing a challenge in live mixes. Despite this, the pre-sets are robust, minimizing the need for custom adjustments. For its price, the Element XP is a portable, feature-rich option, perfect for those exploring multi-effects without breaking the bank.

Cheap and complete equip for broken guitarrists. Good for what it promisses

I buy it when i didn't had money for a complete pedalboard, and started using it with an OD and a Fuzz before in the chain, and i'm very satisfied with the result. All my patches have a Fender Amp simulation an I essentially use the reverbs, delays, phaser, tremolo, wha and the very cool pitch shifter. With a little patience you can get beatiful clean tones, digital, but you don't even notice.

Pros: Honest soundig cheap equipment, Good choice for begineners and students, because it offers all kind of effects and helpful things like the drum machine, p2 aux input for backing tracks, p2 output for earphone, and a tuner

Cons: The dirty sounds are bad, and the fact it have just the back / pass switches make it a little unpractical. It's not a choice for someone who want to play live and use a lot of effects

A High Quality Pedal

I use this pedal for all of my tones. You can even set the processor to keep your tone set. The only downside is the lack of a looper pedal and talk box. Other than that and a slightly indecipherable interface, this processor is perfect

great porcessor , ez to work with , great for biginners

you have 200 presets , you can costumise them in the way you like , if you play with it you'll soon start realizing that you could get a lot of great tones out of it

Sounds great

Through a good amp, that is. through my little fender amp, it sounds... decent.
