Donner Morpher Distortion Mini-Pedal | Gear Review – Agufish Music

wordpress.com

summary text The Donner Morpher Distortion Pedal offers a sturdy build and essential controls in a compact size, perfect for guitarists seeking classic 80s metal tones without breaking the bank. While it excels in delivering articulate and mid-range focused sounds ideal for hair metal, it's less suited for modern metal genres due to its limited tonal depth. Its design as a Suhr Riot clone might deter some purists, and the lack of battery power options could be a dealbreaker for others. Overall, it's a budget-friendly option for those looking to rock out on classic metal riffs.

L

Really good Distortion.

First pedal that I got for Christmas recently and I can't stop using it, I use it for all my songs. Like Master of Puppets, Enter Sandman, etc. The gain is really good.

good but noisy

I love that you can get 3 different types of distortions out of it. Sounds good but very noisy pedal. I am going to replace this with a Boss overdrive but keep this on my board anyways just in case. This pedal is ok for live performance but would suck to record with as it is noisy.

Cheap

Cheap pedals, while they may be good for some, are just not for me. This thing is muddy, the switch at the top barely seems to do anything, and it has a weird fishbone design for some reason..? Would not recommend.

Shocker

Tiny, cheap, effective. I think this pedal is amazing for what it cost. I have the Donner compressor as well and these pedals will knock your socks off what the price you pay.

O
