The Drunk Beaver Hoverla Germanium Treble Booster is a modern boutique guitar effects pedal designed as a highly versatile take on the classic 1960s–70s Rangemaster-style treble booster circuit. Built by Drunk Beaver, it uses selected NOS Soviet germanium transistors to deliver a warm, dynamic boost with a strong vintage character. Unlike traditional treble boosters, it includes advanced controls such as bias adjustment, impedance matching, and a pickup simulator, allowing it to behave like a vintage unit or a modern flexible boost depending on setup. It is known for its ability to cut through a mix while also shaping midrange and low-end content, making it more than just a simple high-end booster. This pedal is popular among players who want classic germanium tone but with modern control and flexibility.
