Description
Meet the Electro-Harmonix Platform, a powerhouse of a pedal that brings studio-quality sound to your guitar rig. This professional stereo compressor limiter is versatile, offering a range of features that goes beyond compression. Whether you're looking to achieve rich sustain, squash chicken pickin' tones, or anything in between, this pedal has you covered.
But that's not all. The Platform is also equipped with an onboard overdrive function, allowing you to sculpt your sound with precision. The overdrive is individually footswitchable, enabling on-the-fly access to your dirtier tones. But the standout feature has to be the Swell control which lets you dial out the original attack of your note, creating a smooth volume swell that emulates stringed-instrument and synth-like tones. This feature offers a whole new dimension of tonal variety to your sound.

Awesome
Incredibly useful tool for tightening live sound, and minimising the amount fo effect pedals i have to carry. Capable of a lot more than most compressors in its price range considering the stereo, drive/boost and swell options.
