Best Jazzmaster, my number 1.
I bought this second hand for considerably cheaper than the original price, and I must say, is the most authentic Jazzmaster that you can buy for the money. The neck is a little bigger than I'm used to, but is very comfortable, and the guitar is extremely resonant and nice to play. The tremolo system is the smoothest and most musical I've come across, and locks nicely and tightly. I love that this guitar's finish will also show you how you like to play it due to Fenders Flash Coat Lacquer. The matching headstock, the transitional gold CBS Fender logo, bound neck and vintage style witch hat knobs are also very aesthetically pleasing to me. In my opinion this is the best Jazzmaster you can currently buy from Fender, that is true and authentic to the original instrument.

Versatile and Functional.
Everything about my jazz master I love. the eccentric tremolo system just begs to be played and the tone is killer. Its not overly harsh or offensive. I'm glad I bought it. I don't think Id trade it for anything else. I changed it to a mastery bridge and never had any problems. I swear it keeps strings from breaking

The workhorse for the band’s sophomore album Sweet Sour was this Fender American Vintage “Thin Skin” ’65 Jazzmaster that he acquired from Wildwood Guitars in Colorado. (The “Thin Skin” moniker refers to the instrument’s ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish.) It also made a big thumbprint on their latest album, By Default, that was released earlier in 2016.

"The ones that are in the Jazzmaster now have that warm, rounded bell tone. It’s so clean straightaway, and they react incredibly well with the pedals and the E-bow, as well. Playing it through a Hot Rod DeVille really suits the guitar. You can get that lovely rhythm sound and then dig in for that great bite."

"The matching headstock was a dream to have. Fender put out a reissue of the ’65 Jazzmaster with a matching headstock and I was after that. It looks incredible, so we did something a little more personal. I gave [Florence Welch] the option of baby blue or powder pink, and pink won out. It’s just trying to play a guitar that no one else has."
