Like Holding a Woman In Your Arms

I have 3 Stratocasters. Two are Made in Mexico and one is from Corona, CA. I love the versatility of tone the Strat offers. My Deluxe Players Strat is older than the one pictured and is black. She has Super Fat-Super Strat single coil pickups which provide a ballsy, SRV roadhouse blues type of tone. Fender later changed to their Noiseless single coils but these pickups are the main reason I love this Strat. The push/push switch activates the bridge pickup in positions four and five on the selector. I call this "the Beatles button" because it can conjure up a great early Beatles tone when employed. These come with beautiful gold hardware. I believe that overall the Stratocaster is the best guitar design ever invented.

A Mexican Strat Very Worthy of the Fender Name

People always say that the Mexican standard Strat is a great beginner guitar, and I'd largely agree with that statement. It has excellent components and construction for the price. However, I still struggle to see why people don't get the Deluxe Player's model more often. It has an incredibly comfortable satin neck and 12" radius fretboard (mine is maple), a beautiful swamp ash body that shines in transparent finishes, the vintage-style Fender tuners that make string changes far less complicated, and completely upgraded electronics that not only make this Strat more versatile but hum-free. Yet this guitar still wants to be played with the same care a vintage Strat should be: finesse, not power; simplicity, not complexity; expression and passion, not pride. I'd put this guitar toe-to-toe with any of the American Strats I've played. It may not beat them out for some; however, for this player it wins because of its more modern neck and electronics.

Great sounding guitar, good for semi-pro

The Fender Deluxe Players Stratocaster is great for those looking for a professional sound. Coming in rosewood or maple, I'd advise maple, as I find it easier to play. Personally, I put new pick ups from Porter, their S90 model, and this guitar sounds great. From sensitive, neck position bassiness to biting, bridge position, piercing highs, this guitar plays and sounds great. I'd also advise adding a volume kit, so one could turn down the volume without treble bleed. Great stock, but amazing if a little money is put into it, this guitar is worth the money.

A sensational guitar

This guitar is one of the best I've ever played. Its sound is clear, precise, clean and the range of their pickups is great. Proudly, for me, made in Mexico following the tradition of quality established by Fender. I love my Honey Blonde!!!!

This guitar is incredible. I was given a grant from my university to upgrade my YouTube channel equipment and I wanted to get a new guitar as well. When I went to try out guitars this one caught my eye straight away. After thinking "Yeah it's just pretty" I finally tried it and Oh My God! It's seriously perfect and it fits my style 100% I'd be lost without it now and I'm desperate for another one. I've upgraded it slightly with a SuperVee Blade Runner bridge with a Dimarzio Super Distortion pickup in the bridge with a tasty black scratch guard. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9OBJb2qG-cs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xp73lzHRljw

Versatile and Comfortable

It's the latest guitar I got and its typical Stratocaster versatility makes it ideal for funky rhythms and at the same time, it works perfectly for blues-type songs, without ruling out playing some Hard Rock with it. With 0.09 strings, it is very comfortable and soft to achieve bends more easily.
