Description
The Fender Single Humbucker Telecaster is where classic design meets modern innovation, delivering a guitar that both honors tradition and embraces versatility. Crafted meticulously in Fender's renowned Corona, California workshop, this instrument is part of the celebrated American Performer Series. This Telecaster is not just an electric guitar; it's a bridge between iconic sound and contemporary performance.
At its core, the Telecaster houses a DoubleTap humbucker at the neck, offering a dynamic range of tones that can seamlessly transition from smooth, rich sustain to sharp, biting leads. Complementing this is the Fender Yosemite single-coil pickup at the bridge, designed with flat-staggered poles to ensure balanced output across all strings. This combination, paired with the Greasebucket tone circuit, allows for precise tonal shaping without sacrificing high-end clarity.
The solid alder body provides a resonant foundation, while the maple neck and rosewood fingerboard ensure smooth playability, characterized by its comfortable 9.5" radius and 22 frets. Whether you're strumming complex chords or executing intricate lead lines, this guitar offers the tactile satisfaction and sonic versatility every guitarist craves. With its sleek, gloss finish and Fender's Classic Gear tuners, this Telecaster is as visually striking as it is sonically impressive.

Artist usage

In the photograph Norman is holding one Fender Telecaster and one Telecaster style guitar that both seemed to be customized. They both only have one humbucker at the bridge. In every photograph and video I have seen of him playing with the band SWANS since their resurrection in 2010 I have seen him use one of these guitars. He has also used Telecaster with SWANS in the early 80s.
