Owner Insights

We analyzed real musician discussions from forums and Reddit to find what players love, question, and tweak about Fender Stratocaster Tom DeLonge Signature (Duplicate).

Build quality

  • Some guitars have a flat spot on the headstock, affecting the traditional shape, unlike better-shaped Squiers at a lower price.

    Source
  • Owners have noted that the bridge saddles on the new model are more comfortable than the original, which were described as "uncomfy and pokey."

    Source

Setup and maintenance

  • Misalignment issues can often be resolved by loosening neck screws and adjusting the neck, though not always due to tight neck pockets.

    Source

Mods and upgrades

  • A common modification involves using a Fender humbucker with a Tele body and the large CBS headstock for a unique custom build.

    Source
  • Some owners recommend a used surf green Squier Affinity with an eBay pickup/pickguard/wiring set for a budget-friendly Tom DeLonge style custom build.

    Source

Use cases and applications

  • It's suggested that the Tom DeLonge Strat is better suited as a studio guitar or collectors item rather than for live performances.

    Source
  • Owners feel the Tom DeLonge Strat's tone is well-suited for punk and metal genres when paired with the right drive and distortion settings.

    Source

Awesome guitar for my needs.

I have owned a Tom Delonge signature in Graffitii Yellow for a good while now. I've used it on 80% of the shows I play because it's everything I could ask for. Suprisingly, the duncan invader sounds very good when used in a clean tone as well. I love the way the neck feels as well. Nice, light, and durable. 10/10 for me.

Great for Pop Punk

This is a great guitar but not the most versatile. I bought it with the sole purpose of playing similar music to Blink-182 so it's perfect but for someone that wants to a play a large range of genres perhaps look at a different guitar. The Seymour Duncan Invader pickup is an absolute beast with a massive output.
