Description
The Epiphone Adam Jones 1979 Les Paul Custom Electric Guitar is a tribute to the legendary Tool guitarist's prized 1979 Gibson Les Paul Custom, capturing its iconic look and sound. Crafted in collaboration with the Gibson Custom Shop, this guitar exudes vintage character and modern playability. Its solid mahogany body, topped with a maple cap, delivers the classic Les Paul sustain and warmth, while the 3-piece maple neck enhances stability and adds a touch of brightness. The sleek ebony fingerboard ensures smooth playability and unmatched articulation for both solos and riffs.
Under the hood, the guitar features a powerful combination of pickups: a Custombucker at the neck for smooth PAF-style tones, and a Seymour Duncan Distortion at the bridge for high-gain intensity, perfect for metal riffage and atmospheric cleans alike. The guitar's multi-ply binding and the Gibson "open book" headstock profile underscore its elegant 1970s aesthetic, while the included deluxe hardshell case and replica 2-inch convex mirror add a touch of personalized flair.

Great build, electronics could be better
Neck profile is amazing, very comfortable all the way up and down. Bridge humbucker sounds great except for a bit of feedback, neck pickup is adequate though something inside rattles when playing unplugged. Looks gorgeous!
