Description
The Gibson Les Paul Custom "Wino" Jerry Cantrell Signature guitar is a masterful tribute to the legendary Alice in Chains guitarist's iconic instrument. Limited to just 100 handbuilt pieces worldwide, this guitar offers a unique blend of vintage aesthetics and modern functionality. Crafted with a weight-relieved mahogany body and a plain maple top, it delivers a resonant sound with a rich warmth that only a Les Paul can provide. The Murphy Lab Aging process gives it the authentic look of a well-loved, Golden-era classic, appealing to those who crave the charm of a vintage instrument without compromising on quality.
The Custom Cantrell Pro neck is designed for comfortable playability, complemented by a smooth ebony fingerboard adorned with mother-of-pearl block inlays. This Les Paul houses a pair of 490R and 498T humbucking pickups, offering the classic Gibson tones with a contemporary twist, perfect for anything from smooth rhythms to searing leads. The addition of a Fishman Powerbridge expands its sonic palette, allowing seamless transitions between electric and acoustic tones, with a stereo output jack for versatile signal routing.

Artist usage
Add artist
In 2021, Jerry Cantrell got his signature model from Gibson Custom Shop, which is based on his Les Paul Custom he calls "Wino":
As passionate as Cantrell is about his musical craft, his fondness for guitars must be a close second. He takes time to talk shop and discuss his recent collaboration with the Gibson Custom Shop: The Jerry Cantrell ‘Wino’ Les Paul Custom. Made to replicate Cantrell’s iconic Les Paul Custom, all 100 of these Wine Red, handmade and hand-signed guitars sold out in a single day. “The first guitar I ever wanted was a Les Paul and I didn’t get it, but now I do!”, Cantrell says, recalling Christmas in eighth grade when his request for one went unanswered.
