Description

The Gibson SG 50s Tribute Prototype P90 is a nod to an era where innovation met classic design, a time when Gibson was redefining the electric guitar landscape. This solid body electric guitar channels the essence of the late 1950s prototypes, delivering a unique blend of vintage aesthetics and modern playability. With its P-90 Soapbar pickups, this guitar offers a dynamic tonal range that captures the raw, vintage-style single-coil sound. Whether you're seeking clean trebles or a gritty growl, the SG 50s Tribute Prototype P90 has got you covered.

The guitar's lightweight mahogany body makes it comfortable for extended playing sessions, while the double cutaway ensures easy access to the higher frets. The rounded '50s neck profile provides a familiar, solid feel, perfect for players who appreciate a more substantial grip. Adding a touch of authenticity, the "PROTOTYPE" stamp on the headstock signifies its homage to a bygone era, making it a conversation starter as much as a performance instrument.

Ideal for those who appreciate the fusion of history and innovation, the Gibson SG 50s Tribute Prototype P90 is more than just a guitar—it's a piece of musical heritage.

Naked SG with P90 growl.

I'd like to say get one, but they only made them for a year, so check out Ebay. Awesome sound, sick looks. Only downside is they saved production costs by leaving slightly sharp fret ends - nothing a fret file won't fix. I love, love, love it!
