Best SG (Just replace a few parts)
tear out the quick connect wiring for 50s wiring, get rid of the ceramic caps for orange drops or paper in oil caps, replace the satin hardware for gold/nickel/chrome, and put the underwound bridge pup in the neck pos. and the hot neck pup in the bridge pos. Do all that and you'll have one of the best Gibson SGs ever built.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
wire the middle position out of phase and flip the neck pup the wrong way round (peter green style) this makes the neck pos. brighter and more usable it's too dark otherwise, use tone knobs especially while using the bridge pup or it will be too bright, that's why they are there don't be afraid to go down to 4-5 on the bridge tone.
