Description

The Gretsch G6120 Eddie Cochran Signature Model is a tribute to the rock 'n' roll and rockabilly pioneer Eddie Cochran. This distinct semi-hollowbody electric guitar is a piece of history, based on Cochran's uniquely modified guitar that fueled his influential yet short-lived career.

The guitar boasts a special "open" internal body design that gives it a distinctive tonal character, along with a unique combination of a DynaSonic single-coil bridge pickup and Lindy Fralin "dog ear" single-coil neck pickup. This powerful duo delivers a wide frequency response and adjustable pole pieces, loved for their rich and powerful midrange response with the bite only a single-coil can provide.

The three-ply arched maple top, back, and sides of the guitar are all hallmark Gretsch, with parallel bracing and double-bound "F" holes. The two-piece maple neck with a 9.5" radius, single-ply binding and polished brass nut, and the 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with western-themed pearloid inlays (cactus, steer heads, and fences) add to the unique aesthetic and playability of this instrument.
