While the vibrato effect is impressively warm and analog-like, the distortion lacks control, being stuck at full-throttle rock 'n' roll. The amp's age shows with some noise issues, but it remains reliable with a backup. It's a nostalgic piece for fans of '70s rock, offering unique charm but limited in modern adaptability.

Slightly wrong item on the picture.

"IC 100" amps got more knobs & controls. The amp shown on the picture is an HH "IC 100-S".

Various first hand sources (such as Triplanetary's reply on this forum thread: https://www.thegearpage.net/board/index.php?threads/seeking-a-fuzz-tone-like-phil-millers-hatfield-and-the-north.2081530/page-2) have confirmed that Phil would use the "Sustain" circuit on this amp, in conjunction with other fuzz pedals, to achieve his fuzzy lead tone.
