Description
Everybody knows the legendary sound from the 60ties and 70ties. As the heavy rock was entering large stages, filled with loads of full stacks. Players like Iommi, Page and the rest wanted more crunch, more saturation more sweet sustain - pure energy and everlasting leadlines. The Treble-Booster was born. The Sweet Sinner comes into an inheritance and brings the classic sound into modern territory.
It was designed with and for Frank PanéPané, guitarist of the legendary german heavy rock band BONFIRE and the recently formed SAINTED SINNERS as a limited edition. His aim was to get this legendary tone by the help of one pedal. The Sweet Sinner is equipped with a NOS AC125 Tungsram transistor. The four controls set the Sweet Sinner up from common treble booster. Its RANGE control let you choose between the classic treble booster sound and a full range boost fully cranked, giving you a meaty sound with tight low mids. The BOOST control doesn't need any explaination. We added a passive TREBLE and BASS control to fine-tune the sound of the Sweet Sinner. TREBLE taims the high frequencies and the transients when the boost is fully cranked and let you find the sweet spot of your amp on the fly. BASS helps to prevent the amp to get overloaded by lower frequencies, especially with humbucker guitars, but leaves the low mids untouched. The Sweet Sinner comes with an internal DC converter and works with every standard 9V DC supply. So plug in your guitar and revive the old tones.
Every pedal is designed, assembled, silkscreened, tested and numbered by hand in our small workshop. We use doublesided PCBs which are designed, tested and assembled by ourselfs, to guarantee a high quality standard and keep the price of our pedals reasonable. The use of an indestructible powdercoated die-cast enclosure ensures a maximum durability.
