Description

The Korg DT-10 Digital Pedal Tuner offers a solution for guitarists and bassists needing accuracy, a wide tuning range, and an easy-to-read display. You'll be able to tune conveniently onstage or off.

The DT-10 has the widest tuning range of all comparable tuners, E0 (20.60Hz) - C8 (4186Hz), and supports dropped tuning (7-semitone flatted tuning mode). Featuring an angled front panel for convenient foot operation and clear viewing, the DT-10 uses both a large, 13-point LED meter for its pitch display and a 16-segment LED display to identify the note being tuned.

This results in the most accurate readout of all stomp tuners and unmatched visibility on dark stages or in low-light situations. In addition, the DT-10 offers adjustable calibration from 438Hz - 445Hz for tuning up to or down to a specific instrument within an ensemble.

The DT-10 provides 2 output jacks: a bypass jack that always outputs the input signal and a separate output jack that can be muted while tuning between songs. This gives you flexibility to meet the needs of a variety of situations. The first Korg footpedal-style tuner!

Great, easy to read and accurate tuner

A tuner pedal is, by my experience, a must if you play gigs. Easier to read and less susceptible of vibration interference from other instruments (looking at you, drummers), they can also double as a kill-switch to swap guitars, for instance.

If you're on a budget, though, the price of the more popular contemporary options - Korg's more recent Pitchblack, Boss' TU-3 or the well known Polytune - can be scary, yet affordable no-name options can be of dubious quality and longevity. These older DT-10 models can be found for very cheap second-hand and provide the best of both worlds, being attainable while proving themselves as dependable and accurate.

This unit is made of solid aluminium and said to be as accurate as the Pitchblack. It's also very easy to read under sunlight and - the cherry on top - has a built-in buffer, great to compensate for your long-ass cable. Compared to the usually equally priced TU-2, it's more accurate and easier to read. It does have the major downside of being overly large, taking up about 1-1/5 of a typical pedal's footprint. Besides, it also lacks the possibility to daisy-chain power cables, if that's something of your interest.

A life long tank

This pedal has been on my board and in my life since 2008, and I cannot see myself replacing it any time soon. It just works great! Sure the new Peterson tuners are more accurate at 0.1 cents over 1 cent, but human hearing is limited to 2 cents, and guitars are imprecise instruments by nature, so I’m good.

more accurate than a TU2

These older Korg pedal tuenrs were more accurate than the TU2 and were always dead on with the Korg rack tuners of the time... this pedal ahs an excellent buffer compared with Boss' pedal tuner too. But you can't see it on a dark stage AT ALL. You can't read it at an outdoor gig with the sun at certain angles either. This tuner is probably why they invented the pitchblack. I used to always take my korg to studios before I got a pitchblack because the fairly transparent buffer will drive long cables and the tuner is super accurate. Joey B turned me on to this tuner. Its obsolete now, but if you want a tuner with a buffer and you don't mind squinting? this is a good option.

Very good tuner

A good inexpensive tuner I have been using for a long time for many years, everything is perfect I advise everyone

Reliable, study

Bright display, precise tuner, easy to see, solid performer, design, and a quality unit. It being so easy to use speeds up the tuning time, the bright display makes it easy to use in the studio as in is dark most of the time.

siegfried_hulot

Accurate and that's it

I won't state that this pedal is full of feature and easy to calibrate. I won't write that it's the best tuner but it's so damn accurate that I won't change it even for a fancy and blinking one.
