The CE Preamp is based on the preamp from the BOSS CE-1. The BOSS CE-1 uses ±13V for the preamp section, and the CE Preamp is similarly driven by a 9V power supply internally converted to ±13V. Because it uses the same circuit as CE-1, the CE Preamp also has low impedance. You will hear a muffled sound when you use those pedals. That can be solved by putting a buffer pedal in the front position. Made in Japan by Lemon & Ginger

Components The CE preamp uses the TA7136AP and 2SC900, just like those used in the BOSS CE-1.
