Inexpensive, but a piece of crap.
When I first bought this, I was so excited to get it, with its very heavy distortion and variety of effects. But it was a huge disappointment to find out that the only reason there's such heavy distortion is to block out its crap tone. Since then, I've learnt to do your research before investing money into such junk.

If your drummer is as young as you look he probably doesn't hit hard. Go out to GC or Sam Ash and get yourself an orange tiny terror or maybe a vox nighttrain. shouldn't set you back too much if there's a used one of either of these lunchbox amps.

You might prefer the dark terror given your metalzone leanings.... oh, and you'll need a cab. check ebay for good prices on used mesa thiele ported 1x12 cabs.

It's all I got
For a mere hundred dollars, it's a decent amp. Although if I could afford to get something better I'd ditch this thing.
Not really responsive and doesn't have dynamics to it.
It's... well... it's crap, ok. If you either pick softly or hardly, it doesn't really matter because you get the same volume no matter what. It does have a really clean channel though. One more bad thing is that the volume is really touchy. It's either no volume or atomic bomb. Can't wait to get rid of this heap of junk.

Its okay
I recommend getting a better amp with decent tones. The tones on this are okay. You can find tone charts on the forums and get a sound similar to some other songs. That is still pretty limited. My advice, GET A BETTER FUCKING AMP!

Line 6 Spider IV
This is a great starter amp for anyone who just started playing guitar. I don't play guitar off guitar amps when I play guitar, I play off bass amps, its always nice to have a guitar amp around though - they are fun to mess around with.
