Hidden gem

Stock it sounds pretty good already, the clean channel is essentially a JTM45 Bright channel and sounds great, the gain channel is similar to a 2203 with another gain stage and clipping diodes which is decent. Slight mods and this thing gets nutty.
It does have an overheating issue due to where the power tubes are located - right under the board with the filter caps - so you definitely want to add a small aluminium plate to the chassis there.

Preferred Settings + Usage:

Clean channel, gain 8-10, bass 2, mids to taste, treble 8-10, master 10, presence to taste. Classic Marshall crunch.
