Overall amazing,
The amp is amazing for its price, bought it for 120 and it performs like a 500 dollar amp. It lacks the highs on the gain, so it sounds more like an old school metal tone, wont prefer it for an modern metal tone.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
on this amp classic rock tone gain(6)-bass(7.5)-contour(2)-treble(6).

Good dependable workhorse amp.
Had mine since 2008, been a solid companion for the 11 years I've had it. Gigs well, and records well so if you're like I was when I got mine and you're looking for your first "bigger amp" then I'd highly recommend one.
Plenty loud enough for most uses as in all the years I've had it I don't think I've had to turn the master above 5!

The amp I can currently afford
Although many people on the internet will tell you that the MG series suck, my opinion of the amp is quite on the opposite side. I really think it can deliver some great tones for a solid state.
