Couldn’t ask for a better amp
Cream, Black Sabbath, Zeppelin, Thin Lizzy, AC/DC, Fleetwood Mac, Stooges… you ask and it delivers!
Sounds as phenomenal on blues and British Invasion pop rock as it does hard rock, metal and punk.
Another massive bonus is the output switch. That’s what sealed the deal for me on this. A wonderful addition to have when in the company of those who prefer quieter volumes or in a quieter setting.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Gain - 8 o’clock (and pulled up)
Tilt - Zeroed out
Bass - 10 o’clock
Middle - Noon
Treble - 2 o’clock
Master - 3 o’clock
Presence - Noon

Great!
Definitely does the typical marshall thing with some good distortion or drive pedals, but not too dirty off the bat. It handles distortion well, but isn't easy to distort naturally. I would definitely recommend changing the tubes after a year or so, but thats with extremely regular use. \

Great Plexi tones. But Not that flexible
Tone is great. Typical Marshall. Nevertheless even in the low power mode it’s not possible to reach breakup at lower volumes. You will ja e to crank it.

The same circuit as the combo, but with more power and a head and cabinet setup. Better for loud stages.
$250.00
A lower watt version of the same circuit. It's a little quicker to distort and quieter, so great for home/ apartment use and home recording.
$50.60 - $79.99
Really helps bring out a more typical, slightly overdriven marshall sound on this amp.
