Marshall MG50GFX Review - Classic tone, Combo Price - Killer Guitar Rigs

killerguitarrigs.com

The Marshall MG50GFX showcases classic design and an array of features, making it a decent option for beginners seeking a recognizable name without the fuss of tube amps. However, its sound quality falls short of expectations for seasoned players, with a distortion that can feel thin and digital. While it performs adequately for practice and small gigs, the amp's tonal limitations, especially in gain settings, may leave more advanced users searching for alternatives. Despite its shortcomings, it's a solid entry point for new guitarists, but those craving authentic Marshall tones might want to explore other options.

Amazing Amp

Lots of features and built in effects. 2 different modes for clean and distort. Nice way to have different tone volumes and then a master volume. Only thing, Marshall always sorta wanna be cranked up loud, I can’t really do that. It’s still a really good amp
