This limited-edition dreadnought embodies the spirit of mid-century acoustics with a modern twist. Inspired by a 1955 D-18 from the Skip Maggiora collection, it features a reclaimed spruce top, sourced from old-growth timber in Alaska, paired with mahogany back and sides for a warm, balanced tone. The guitar's historical charm is enriched by period-accurate, non-scalloped Sitka spruce X-bracing, offering focused bass and clarity across the spectrum.
With only 70 models produced, this guitar is as rare as it is remarkable, featuring a printed pattern that mimics the aging of the original. The Kluson nickel vintage waffleback machine heads and a bone saddle add to its authentic feel, while a select hardwood neck with a GE Modified Low Oval profile ensures smooth playability.
