Description
The Matthews Effects The Architect V3 is a masterful reinterpretation of the legendary Klon circuit, bringing mythical overdrive tones within your reach. This pedal stands out not only for its iconic sound but also for the sheer versatility packed into its compact frame. At its core lies an active 3-band EQ, giving you precise control over the treble, mids, and bass, allowing you to sculpt your sound with stunning clarity and depth. This is not just an overdrive pedal; it’s a complete tone-shaping tool.
What sets The Architect V3 apart is its three selectable clipping modes, which provide a spectrum of textures to suit any guitar and amp setup. Whether you crave the tight crunch of silicon, the natural edge of diode lift, or the compressed punch of germanium, the Architect V3 delivers with ease. Complementing these sonic options is an independent boost channel, which features switchable silicon or MOSFET circuits, empowering you to push your amp from a subtle boost to seismic gain.
Every detail of the Architect V3, from its high-grade components to its top-mounted jacks, reflects Rick Matthews' commitment to quality and innovation. With its external bypass control, this pedal brings even more flexibility to your setup, making it a must-have for anyone serious about their tone.

Killer K-style OD
I'd had a hard time getting a Klon style OD to work well with my rig and this just blows all but a few away. The entire gain range is amazing and the boost is a tremendous always on kinda boost. This pedal makes me believe the Klon hype.
