Critic Reviews

Native Instruments Komplete Audio 1 and 2 review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

The Native Instruments Komplete Audio 1 is a compact and stylish entry-level audio interface that delivers impressive sound quality, making it a perfect choice for beginners. Its lightweight design and solid build add to its appeal, while the bundled software offers a great starting point for music production. However, the direct monitoring feature is limited to headphone output only, which may frustrate some users. Overall, if you can overlook this limitation, the Komplete Audio 1 stands out as a reliable option for novice musicians seeking versatility on a budget.

Native Instruments Komplete Audio 1 USB interface review

higherhz.com

The Native Instruments Komplete Audio 1 is a solid entry-level audio interface that delivers good recording quality and an attractive design at an affordable price. However, it falls short with RCA outputs and a plastic build, limiting its appeal for serious musicians. While ideal for beginners and hobbyists, it lacks the features that might attract more experienced users. If you're just starting out, this interface is a decent choice, but don't overlook alternatives that offer better connectivity and durability for just a bit more cash.

It's no good for inputting stereo, but it's hella handy when switching from headphones to monitors

Haven't had any issues with it whatsoever, and I am completely intent with keeping it around. Only downside that I've found is that you really can't pop anything stereo into it, as it only has one 6,35mm input (although you can fiddle with the XLR). It runs both my DT880s and my Rokits just fine, and as stated, I can switch between them with the singular rotation of a knob. Let's cut it some slack...
