Great affordable option, with tons of hands-on experiences

Updating this review (again), as I've owned it for a longer while now, and I got my Keystation back a few months ago so I can have a more fair comparison. Updated parts will be marked with //.

In short: GREAT option if this is your first keyboard, as it offers a ton of flexibility at a very compact size. Not a great option if you're already familiar with keyboards (at that point look into their more expensive offerings)

You have so much control over various softsynths (courtesy of the Komplete Kontrol software), way more than you'd generally get with MIDI controllers. You can not only browse for sounds and select one without touching the mouse or keyboard, but also edit the sounds as a whole.

// The small size and profile of this controller is a double-edged sword for me. It's genuinely nice that I can fit it on my table, but I wish it had more keys. The idea of touch strips for pitch/modulation seem innocuous enough, until you realize there's no way to know where the pitch wheel starts at. Same with the mod wheel.

// The keys feel good enough. I'm no professional keyboard player, but I did genuinely feel a difference between my Keystation and this. Put it shortly, I much prefer the keys on my Keystation. They're bigger, they require more force to be pushed down (even if said force is quite spongy), while on the M32 they kinda feel like buttons in a way - definitely good enough to get ideas across though.

// I still pull it out every now and then when I want to switch things up, however I did notice that I'm always switching back to my Keystation after a week or two. Maybe I should look into the regular-sized A-series, too.
