eye candy for the studio

i basically never use this, but whenever someone comes over, or looks at a photo, this is almost always the first thing they gravitate towards, so if there's kids, or you're takign a lot of pictures, this is solid for that. other then that? maybe some finger drumming to get a beat down without feeling too midi. the analog outs are great in a pinch though

Best for the money if you don't want a Push

I purchased this because I had not heard about the PUSH2 beforehand. The Launchpad Pro's advantage is its ability to be open. Where Push has an intense integration with Ableton Live, Launchpad Pro allows you to do so much more with other possible options. With the Launchpad Pro you can control external hardware, you are also able to custom program the mappings to fit your needs, where you don't have this kind of flexibility with Push2.

While you have this amount of control, the built in Live capability out of the box works flawlessly without having to do much other than selecting the hardware device within Ableton. You can be up and running with Launchpad Pro within seconds of starting.

What's even greater about this device is the hardware itself. A lot of thought went into building this for durability. The pads are stiff while allowing pressure and velocity sensitivity not found in the original Launchpads.

It's just been a blast

I can't lie. I fucking love this product. I've had, and still am, having a lot of fun messing around and making music with it. Besides that, there's so many softwares that you can use it on. I've used it on Logic Pro X, FL, Ableton, and even on the app they have on mobile. I would suggest getting whatever the newest version of this is at time you're reading this; GET IT.

Very, very useful device

Great for launching clips and triggering samples during Livesets. Added color-depth variety helps in darkness. Somewhat of a lag when pressing button to readout of sound/sample...easily remedied by adjusting timing of press.

Its Not Everyday that u can use Technology for your Tracks , Audio & Voice with Recording , this Kit jus takes it to another level of Sophistication wen it comes to Music Production & Live Setups . love working on the Pads and you have a fun time experimenting with the diff sounds for the Lead Key / Drum Playing for instant Jamming sessions ,

Nice Pad Controller!

This controller has excellent compatibility with Ableton, but lacks features in FL Studio (and ease of use). Optimisation for other DAWs would be useful in a future product.

The Launchpad Pro is one of my favourite pieces of gear ever. The build quality is outstanding, and the pads feel AMAZING to press! Such a mesmerizing device! Brilliant!

Very good instrument which is velocity sensitive which allows more expression when recording but it'd be better if it supported more software.

This device has amazing midi features. It syncs perfectly with Ableton Live and Fl Studio. I can use it for live performances and Studio Recording as well!
