One of a kind!
High quality strings!! From my experience the plain steel strings are not as strong as D'Addario NYXL, but they do have a special bark that sets them apart, definitely more mid-bass pronounced and a little higher output in comparison with the NYXL's. "Beefy" is the best word I can think of to describe their tone. Rotosound blends 52% nickel and 48% iron to achieve this highly magnetic string. I always lower my humbuckers a bit when I put these on which gives me really great dynamics and clarity. I also learned to avoid using string conditioners on these, like GHS fast fret, as it seems to accelerate their corrosion, so I just wipe them with some soft and dry tissue. Color coded ball ends are convenient and the packing is simple and effective, producing minimal waste.
