Sennheiser HD 25 Aluminum Review | PCMag

pcmag.com

The Sennheiser HD 25 Aluminum shines as a top-tier choice for DJs, delivering exceptional audio performance with rich, clear sound and a comfortable design. While its simple elegance and removable cable are standout features, the lack of accessories—such as a cable with phone controls—might leave some wanting more versatility. Despite its high price tag, its superior sound quality and comfort earn it an Editors' Choice, making it a strong contender for professionals and audiophiles alike.

The Best Evolution Yet: HD 25 ALUMINIUM - Headfonia Reviews

headfonia.com

The Sennheiser HD 25 Aluminum revitalizes the iconic HD25-1 with subtle yet impactful enhancements. While the aluminum housing is a minor update, it enriches the sound, offering fuller bass, refined midrange, and smoother treble compared to its predecessor. The updated design includes sturdier steel cables and improved faux leather pads, making them a durable and comfortable choice. However, the $329 price tag might deter those accustomed to the $199 HD25-1 II. Although the sound quality justifies the cost, the decision rests on whether the aluminum upgrade is worth it. Overall, this is a standout in its price range, especially for those seeking a robust, punchy listening experience.

25 years a good choice

I really like these headphones, they are light, but still have a decent grip on your head. The bass is powerfull, but doesn't distort the high freq. to much (unlike some other DJ headphones) The bass is ofcourse not perfect, but that's never the case with on ears... Overall a decent pair of cans, there is a reason they make this model for more then 25 years now
