Good starter instrument

This was my first guitar, which I played so much that the pickguard lost its mirror finish, the frets are worn out some, and I had to replace the whammy bar. I even put texas special pickups in it in the vain hope that it'd be much better with them. Sadly, it still sounds mediocre at best, imo, but I'll probably always have it around just in case
