This pedal is not just about distortion, it's about the raw, aggressive, and brutal tone that defines the sound of death metal. Inspired by the Swedish death metal scene of the 90s, the Eyemaster is ready to transform your rig into a death metal beast.

It comes with a simple, yet effective 2-knob design for Gain and Volume, allowing you to dial in your desired level of distortion, from subtle to downright aggressive. But what sets the Eyemaster apart is the perfectly dialed-in death metal EQ. It's so well-balanced that you might forget the knobs aren't even there.
The TC Electronic Eyemaster is not just another distortion pedal, it's an homage to the heavyweights of death metal. So plug in, crank up the volume, and get ready to unleash your inner beast with the Eyemaster.

Good but less than great.
If you really want that Boss HM2 tone this will get it for you at a great price. I think that for more money there are better options though. I say this cos I also have a BYOC the Swede pedal and I think the swede sounds a lot more defined. Since I only need one HM2 clone I took the eye master back. But if I ever lost my Swede pedal I'd probably just buy an eye master.

It's good.
I like my distortion, it's very nice and strong at the same time. It sounds very aggressive.
Best budget distortion for metal.
Does good distortion and the HM-2 borderline fuzz that it is famous for.
