Critic Reviews

Is the Valeton GP-200LT now the guitar multi-fx to beat for value? | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

The Valeton GP-200LT Multi-Effects Processor is a budget-friendly powerhouse that challenges the norms of affordable gear. With an impressive array of over 140 amp models, 240 effects, and a user-friendly 4.3-inch color screen, it offers versatility and creative potential for guitarists at an unbeatable price. However, sacrificing the built-in expression pedal and some footswitches may deter those seeking comprehensive control. For its price point, the GP-200LT is a strong contender in the multi-effects market, but it’s essential to weigh the missing features against your performance needs. Overall, it’s a commendable choice for value-driven musicians.

Budget substitution for products like hx stomp

I use it at the end of my signal chain as a collection of modulation, delay & reverb and amp sim. The tones are not bad for the price. 3.5mm headphone jack is very convenient when using the pedal to practice. Integrated sound card and can use it to input your phone if you got an Otg adapter. Budget choice when you want a product like hx stomp, gt1000core, etc.!

Amazing tones for price

Ver user friendly and has very good amp and pedal simulations for a very cheap price, the output and input options are very convenient for home, recording and live usage, and the expression inputs make for an even better pedalboard than many others in the market

Preferred Settings + Usage:

fav preset is my Dual Recto Vintage boosted by a Boss Super Overdrive with an Ola Englund Roadster IR, light chorus for stereo doubling effect and a lead setting with a tube delay, very reminiscent of Destroy Erase Improve by Meshuggah
