VOX StompLab IIB Pedal Review - Premier Guitar

premierguitar.com

The Vox Stomplab IIB is a compact and affordable multi-effect pedal that punches above its weight. It offers a wide array of tones with 61 effects, amplifier, and cabinet models that cater to various genres, making it ideal for both studio and travel. The build quality is solid, and its portability is a plus. However, the small expression pedal can be tricky for those with larger feet, and the LED interface might take some getting used to. While the overdrive and fuzz effects can be a bit sharp, the pedal's versatility and sound quality make it a great value for bassists seeking a budget-friendly, all-in-one solution.

Vox StompLab IIB review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

The Vox Stomplab IIB is a budget-friendly multi-effects unit offering bassists a wide range of sounds and versatility. Its compact design is ideal for both home practice and stage use. The unit boasts 120 memory slots, an onboard tuner, and a variety of effects, making it suitable for various genres. While the mini-treadle is a space-saver, navigating the display's abbreviations can be cumbersome. Despite this minor hitch, the Stomplab IIB is a solid choice for those seeking diverse tones without breaking the bank.

A decent, entry level for Bass Effects

Sounds pretty good. The control layouts are terrible and the pedal is way to small (I have US 10-10.5 Shoe Size). I slapped a larger piece of wood on the pedle with 2 cable ties and it fixed the problem. The effects are good to great, but what really makes this shine is the interacting with the expersion pedal. Adjusting parameters like Ring Mod freq is cool using the pedal. I would recomment the Zoom B1Xon over this, but still on okay pedal for newbies. Solid metal constrution.
