BM-800 Microphone Review – The Nerdy Student

thenerdystudent.com

The BM-800 Condenser Microphone offers impressive value for its price, boasting good sound quality and sturdy metal construction. It's ideal for beginners or those on a tight budget, though investing in a pre-amp can enhance performance, especially for more demanding audio tasks. The mic is easy to set up, but lacks onboard adjustments, which some users might find limiting. Overall, it's a solid choice for aspiring podcasters or YouTubers looking for an upgrade from basic headset mics.

BM-800 Review & Test – The Thrifter's Guide to Geekery

clyfaker.com

The BM-800 Condenser Microphone is a budget-friendly choice with a solid build and versatile connectivity options. It shines with phantom power, delivering surprisingly good audio quality for its price, though it doesn't compete with higher-end models like the Audio Technica AT2020. The ability to use it with standard audio cards is a plus for beginners, although performance can be inconsistent without proper equipment. Overall, it's a decent entry-level microphone for those on a tight budget.

Cheap and Functional

It tends to introduce quite a bit of background noise at times. Generally, a bit of EQ is enough to fix it, but it reaches points where recording with this condenser is irreparable.

I don't use it unless it's the last resort.

Its a bang for the buck

I don't really sing or take vocal that much, but usually just enough to do some basic things and some calls or just the usage of microphone in general. Thus, this mic is really cool for $10. IDK it might be less in your country, but it really is a bang for the buck.

bitzmusic

somewhat good

i got this as my first recording gear but the noise level was very loud AF, but you can sound proof your room to reduce noises and ambiance then you can get a clean recording!

J

Medium Mic

I have this mic for four years. It's good for his price, but if you a bigger budget, don't buy it.

S

It's worth the price if your starting out, for sure

This is stupidly inexpensive, and if you tweak it enough with eq it can sound pretty decent. That if you already have an interface to go with it, of course.

Do yourself a favor and throw that XLR-P2 cable that comes with it in the thrash.
